If you're anything like me ... then you're gonna
be sending an ooodle of cyber Chrimble e-cards to friends
and family in the run up to Christmoose. Well this year
there's yet another e-card site to add into the mix ...
and blow me down if it ain't our very own Brainfog E-card
service !!!!
Yes folks ... we have now entered the realms of online greetings
.... Brainfog styleeeeeee ... weeee .... so mooch on over

page and have a play ....
You'll notice under the e-card login box that there
is a bit about raising awareness for Brainfog whilst sending
your cards ... now you don't need to do this but please
spare a minute to have a read and a think about whether
you would be able to use this at anytime.
I'd like to *BIG UP* the Wibble one ... for taking
a baubletastic photo of our Fogland mascot Ooooops the Moose
.... I think you'll all agreee he be loookin' mighty splendid

WAAAASSSUUUP Foggers !!!
Long
time no cyber seee eh  .............
But as you probably already know, I’ve had myself
a bit of a battle with them pooorly monsters over the last
six weeks, which has meant I’ve only popped me heeed
out from under the duvet a couple of times in the last few
weeks to do a few bits and bobs online only to be knocked
back down again … "norty ME" 
.............. but I do plan to be back in action in the
v.v.v. near future causing mischief and mayhem wherever
I ponder but I wanna say here and now, that this time would
have been a darn sight stinkier without knowing you lot
are all out there. Obviously, I’d rather you were
all out there living normal, healthy lives …………
but if I have to live with this illness then I’d rather
live it with you all … although of course, I’d
rather you were all well … ooo ya know wot I mean
Seriously, I hope the knowledge of our community gives you
the same kind of comfort that it has brought me during what
I would class as some of my darkest ME times. So thank you
guys … for all your support, fluff, good vibes and
rather fabulouso snail mail that you’ve been sending
… *doffs cap atcha all in muchos appreciation* *adopts
dodgy French accent* … “Monsieur .. with all
this fluff you are indeed spoiling me !!” 
I have also been aware … by way of our wonderful community
grapevine, that a lot of you guys have also been going through
particularly tricky times with your own poorly monsters.
Of course, everyday we are all dealing with these monsters
but when they go and get themselves rampant it’s especially
hard … so for each of you out there going through
pants right now … I be sending you the biggest of
*hugs* and as many healing vibes as I can muster. Hang in
there dudes ‘cos we all be with you in spirit …
I’ll be the one behind the sofa scoffin’ the
last of the Pringles 
Seriously though, however rough it should get … know
that you are being very muchly thought of and cared about.
Just hold onto a wonderful vision of being well, healed
and chilled on a desert island somewhere. This is now part
of my daily medication routine and although it is yet to
come true … I can confirm that it is our there waiting
for us all 
I was about to say “sorry” then for not having
been around of late and for any hold ups that it may have
caused, but stopped meself ‘cos saying sorry for being
ill is just nonsense … as we all know
but I do know it has put an immense load on my team
‘The Fellowship of the Fog’ and I just want
to say how proud I am of them. It has essentially meant
that between them, they have had to hold the fort during
not the easiest of times. We’ve had
to put in place a few changes over the last few months mostly
changes that will enable me personally, to spread the Admin
load and focus more time working on the Charity route and
future Gatherings. So these have been important changes
but unfortunately it has not been smooooth as it’s
coincided with me + unexpected duvet time … so they’ve
all really been through the mill trying to hold it all together
… you would be amazed if you knew just how hard work
it’s been for them recently.
I am also aware that things have not been quite their usual
selves in Fogland over the last few months and I just want
you to know that both myself and my team are aware of this
and making constructive steps to get things back on track.
It may appear like a lot has changed in Fogland of late
but the reality is that other than completely having to
rebuild the Forum from scratch back in May due to the very
norty hackers very
little has actually changed.
We now have the fabulous trio of Forum Co-ordinators on
board who are each doing a cracking job despite each going
through their own personal baptism of fire  …(watch
this space for more to come about these dudes )
… other than that we are still doing things in the
exact same way that we were a year ago … The only
real difference is that there has been quite a few extreme
things going on over the last couple of months like the
hacking and the Bognor Gathering so all these things have
put added pressure on us Fellowship peeps to keep the Forum
running as smooothly as we can at the same time. It’s
an incredibly delicate and difficult balance running a community
like ours but I want to assure you that at all times, my/our
no.1 priority is to do what is right for Brainfog and for
you guys … 
So I just want to thank you dudes for your patience and
for hanging on in there … your normal Foggin’
service and a time of muchos chilling for us all, will hopefully
be resumed shortly
At the end of the day, Brainfog exists in order for us all
to connect and communicate and fluff about with each other.
Make no mistake … it’s you guys who make
it what it is … and what you make it is something
rather special

is a big catch up so I will try to post them roughly in

There have been some changes
in the Treasury department of late … For personal
reasons, Fi is now no longer Treasurer or Moderator (of
the Fundraising section) but we do have a temporary acting
Treasurer in place until I find another person to fill the
role on a permanent basis … more info. coming about
this v.v.v.v.v. sooon but if in the meantime you have questions
regarding Brainfog and Finance give me, Ally a shout on
I just want to say a HUGE thank you
to Fi, for all her hard work, love, support and commitment
over the past two years. She has been a true asset to Brainfog
and despite dealing with her own illness on a daily basis
she has always been a great source of support to many Brainfoggers
since she joined, both as a member and as our Treasurer
Fi has always done an outstanding job with
the finances and Brainfog was truly blessed to have found
such conscientious and dedicated Treasurer 
She
did such a tremendous job getting the Auction House up and
running, getting people to donate items to auction, and
drumming up business to keep the bids coming in and I just
want to *BIG UP* her for all her Modding
work over the last two years. Not forgetting too her very
hard work in helping to make all our Welsh dreams come true
with the Snowdon Gathering 2003 
I
know you’ll all be with me in wishing her all the
very best of joy, love, luck, health & *fluff* in the
world …
~
The next important update is that our Viks has decided to
hang up her Modding hat after two years and eight months
of flufftastic hardcore Moderating and ‘Fellowship
of the Fogging’. Although this sucks for us …this
weirdly is also the best of news as it means Postpals is
on the up and up as her services and energy are more than
ever now required full-time over there to run the website
with her team. So although it’s hard to see that Fog
Mod Squad hat hanging on that hook … I’m a very
happy bunny, as it means more and more terminally ill kids
are going to have their days brightened by the Postpals
team … *doffs cap at Viks*
Over
her time with us, she has given sooooo much love, support
and friendship to us all whilst dealing with sooo much herself
... in short she has been a true Foggin' rock and a brilllliant
team player to boot!
She’s
still very much going to be around Brainfog as a member
which we are delighted about as she’s a super duper
special piece of Foggin’ fluff who means so much to
so many of us

~ Those of you who know Alix aka Babababe
(member of the Mod Squad) will know she has been hit pretty
hard by her M.E. lately and is taking some serious time
out in order to recover. She is an incredibly valued member
of the team and loved by all. Her posts are always sensitive,
caring and compassionate despite all she is dealing with
herself ... so *BIG UPPIN'* you babes
I'm reluctant to write a big thank you speech as it is possible
that once she is back on a healing track she'll back to
play with us ... so I want to give only positive vibes to
help that be so
(but if it does happen that she has fully stepped down,
I will let you all know)
Alix we are all with you in spirit and egging you on for
a v.v.v.v.v.v.v. speeeedy recovery .... and in the meantime
we'll be keeping your place on the Fogland sofa and Mod
Squad warm for you

Bertie Butler a.k.a the Purple Penguin
has recently decided to step down from Modding the Techie
section after two years of toptastically technically advising,
supporting and saving us all when we’ve wanted to
throw our PC’s out of the window and lemme tell you,
standing between a Fogger and their norty PC takes one mighty
Purple Penguin 
I’m
sure all of you who have met him will agree that he is a
truly wonderful soul and a gentleman to boot … I’m
thinking of how in Snowdon (as one of our fabulouso team
of healthy bodies) he carried all our luggage to our rooms
and was just a true rock for all us pooorly peeps who needed
a good healthy man about the Hostel to make us a cuppa and
generally be top. Well he fit the bill and it didn’t
go unnoticed
Many of you newbies probably won’t know that when
I first got to know Bertie I was having a LOT of PC problems
… norty PC As Berties background is in the PC Techie
business he stepped up to the plate to help but rather than
stop at just sorting out the current problems he totally
rebuilt my PC and acquired a laptop for me so that I could
work from bed when needed. I can’t even begin to tell
you how wonderful this was at the time. It helped me out
of a v.v.v. tricky and potentially expensive spot and meant
I was able to continue working on those not so good days
from under me duvet
He has been such a wonderful friend to Brainfog and all
it’s members over the last couple of years. He has
made us laugh countless times over his often very odd postings
and has listened as only a good friend would through the
difficult times...... so Bertie mate … from the bottom
of me heart to the tips of me antlers … thank you
