The
weekend is not a case of ‘all or nothing’; you can attend
as much or as little as you like. You should remember to tailor
your weekend to suit your needs as a ME person. If you require more
rest days before and after travelling then factor that into your
own personal plans. The Bognor organisers will ask you ahead of
time what you are thinking of attending and what you are planning
to sit out but you can always change your mind five minutes before
you leave. You will have contact numbers so you can let us know
that you are not going to be able to make it.
If
you have those dates free and plan on coming or are still just thinking
about it let me know at I’ll send you a questionnaire and
the option of joining a mailing list that will contain information
about the weekend.
When
making your decision to come, remember that you
will be responsible for arranging your own accommodation, food and
travel to and from each meet. You will have to factor in
how this will affect your health and whether you should invite a
carer/physical assistant. We can help with giving you a place to
crash if needs be during the day, we are currently arranging which
hotel rooms can be available.
The
best thing about going away with Foggers is that we all understand
the ups and downs of this illness. If you need some quiet time or
feel you have to lie down to carry on talking then you can. It’s
like a real life Fogland, so you can relax in the knowledge that
we understand.

I
hope that you are able to come along, it will be an amazing weekend
(I’m working my socks off to make it that way ),
so drop me an email and join in the fun. If you have any questions
that I haven’t addressed then you can email me on the above
address and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Has
anyone ever been this excited about going to Bognor?
No, I didn’t think so…
