Taokat: 12 I think, but there would have been 38 if someone had made me a cake last year

Taokat: Living in hope on the south coast, UK

Taokat: Single, but not really looking


Ally: How long have you had ME/CFS?

Taokat: Since Jan 1996, and fibromyalgia since September the same year


Ally: What valuable lessons have you learnt from your illness and what gifts has it brought to you?

Taokat: It has brought me the time to sit and appreciate the beauty in the world, and taught me to slow down so I have time to appreciate the beauty without a head full of stress


Ally: What do you regret most about your illness ?

Taokat: The way it can cut me off from physcal contact with people


Ally: How many piercings do you have and where?

Taokat: More than have rings/studs in - 3 if you just count the ones with metal in, ! in my nose and 2 in my ears, though there are 11 holes in my ears


Ally: What is the best gift that you’ve ever received?

Taokat: Life


Ally: Galaxy or dairy milk?

Taokat: Either will do just fine, thank you, but thorntons viennese truffles win hands down


Ally: What is your favourite word or phrase?

Taokat: Comfort and ease


Ally: Whats your favourite food to chomp on?

Taokat: Macadamia nuts - very expensive, very moorish, very fattening, hence why I rarely buy them


Ally: What is your favourite movie/s?

Taokat: Anything that makes me laugh


Ally: What is your most prized possession?

Taokat: My imagination


Ally: What is your favourite drink to drink?

Taokat: Robinsons summer fruits high juice, or a nice cup of tea


Ally: What makes you tick ?

Taokat: I wasn't aware I did, sorry, is it disturbing you?


Ally: What is the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?

Taokat: Check what time it is


Ally: Have you ever been in luuurve?

Taokat: Oh yes

Taokat: Oh yes

Taokat: Bin them!

Taokat: I don't have one. wish I did now, but I don't

Ally: If you could live in any other part of the world than you currently do, where would that removal truck be heading to?

Taokat: Definitely new zealand (though I wouldn't mind visiting Tibet, Nepal and India on route)

Taokat: Elmo

Taokat: Lao Tse, author of the Tao Te Ching (s'Taoism, baby)

Taokat: Pretty much all of the natural stuff

Taokat: Intolerance and bigotry


Ally: If you could do it all over again, what would you do different?

Taokat: I'd stress less

Taokat: I've no memory of any irrationality - foggy brain can be useful

Taokat: I hate to admit it, but I can recall none, though I'm sure I've had several

Taokat: strange, flexible, adaptable, independant, caring


Ally: What makes you smile, especially when your ME poorly monsters are rampant?

Taokat: The beauty of nature, streams and waterfalls, and often my dopey cat, lol
