Quiltypig: I don’t


Ally: What valuable lessons have you learnt from your illness and what gifts has it brought to you?

Quiltypig: I have learned many lessons from my illness (which isn’t ME). Maybe one of the biggest is to value what I have and to be happy now.


Ally: What do you regret most about your illness ?

Quiltypig: That it took having an illness to teach me the things I have learned.


Ally: How many piercing's do you have and where?

Quiltypig: Ouch! No! I don’t like pain and I particularly don’t like needles!


Ally: What is the best gift that you’ve ever received?

Quiltypig: I got a telescope when I was a kid. I remember being very happy with it.


Ally: Galaxy or dairy milk?

Quiltypig: Neither. I like dark chocolate. Green and blacks is the best.


Ally: What is your favourite word or phrase?

Quiltypig: Yes Ian, you’re absolutely right.


Ally: What's your favourite food to chomp on?

Quiltypig: Curry!


Ally: What is your favourite movie/s?

Quiltypig: Amelie. The Fisher King.


Ally: What is your most prized possession?

Quiltypig: My camper van, which is sadly sick at the moment.


Ally: What is your favourite drink to drink?

Quiltypig: Any good Scotch malt whisky. Laphroag or Macallen are good but something really old would be better.


Ally: What makes you tick ?

Quiltypig: I keep an alarm clock in my pants.


Ally: What is the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?

Quiltypig: Hit the snooze button on the alarm clock radio.


Ally: Have you ever been in luuurve?

Quiltypig: Oh yes. Still am.


Ally: Have you ever loved somebody so much it made you cry?

Quiltypig: I’m a bloke. *cough cough*


Ally: What do you do with your toe nail clippings?

Quiltypig: I save them up to build a scale model of the empire state building. Bizarre question.


Ally: Who is your personal hero?

Quiltypig: Isambard Kingdom Brunel


Ally: Coke or Pepsi?

Quiltypig: You’re asking the wrong person.


Ally: If you could live in any other part of the world than you currently do, where would that removal truck be heading to?

Quiltypig: I rather like this country but maybe somewhere in the country, by the mountains, at the seaside and within easy reach of the shops (all at the same time).


Ally: Who would be your favourite Sesame Street character?

Quiltypig: Oscar


Ally: What famous person (dead/alive) would you most like to meet and share a glass of wine/water with?

Quiltypig: Not sure about this one. Maybe Brunel. Or The Buddha. Or perhaps Einstein. Also it would be pretty cool to chat with John Peel.


Ally: What things do you love the most in the world?

Quiltypig: Gingerpig.


Ally: What does you heeeed in the most?

Quiltypig: Commercialisation and the idea that everything is justified in the pursuit of money.


Ally: If you could do it all over again, what would you do different?

Quiltypig: Part of me want to say nothing at all. Everything I have done makes me the wonderful person I am On the other hand, I had a pretty miserable childhood because I was something of an outsider. I could have made an effort to fit in. But I think I will say I would change nothing at all.


Ally: What was your most irrational act?

Quiltypig: Going up the Eiffel Tower even though I’m terrified of heights. What I did when I was up there wasn’t at all irrational though.


Ally: what was your most humbling experience?

Quiltypig: Visiting India on business and seeing grinding poverty worse than anything I had seen before sitting right next to rich, opulent hotels.


Ally: What 5 words best describe you?

Quiltypig: Big. Blue. Scottish. Ogre. Smelly. No wait. That’s someone else!


Ally: What makes you smile, especially when your ME poorly monsters are rampant?
